STORY : The quintessential Mumbaiyya music of a few Banjo players, led by Taraat (Riteish Deshmukh) catches the fancy of a budding American singer Chris (Nargis Fakhri). She travels to Mumbai all the way from New York to hunt for Taraat and his quirky coterie, hoping to take their music international. But given their social and financial background, can the men live up to Chris' expectations? 

Banjo is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical action drama film, directed by Ravi Jadhav and produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner of Eros International.[2] Principal photography began at the end of January 2016[3] and the film released on 23 September 2016.[4] Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri star in the film.[3][5] The film received mixed reviews upon its release and was declared a flop at the box office.

The first poster of the film focused on Banjo, a musical instrument, around which the movie revolves. The film traces the story of banjo players from Maharashtra and how the relevance of the art is deteriorating nowadays. Principal photography began at the end of January 2016 and the film is scheduled for release on 23 September 2016.
